The Barrens wasn’t just a movie for me... i t was a fight. A weird, stubborn, indie fight that somehow worked. I wrote it. I directed it. I dragged it into existence with duct tape, conviction, and a book I made by hand to convince people it shouldexist.
 
What you’re looking at here is a full piece of that journey:
 
– A signed DVD
– Signed original storyboards from the film
– And the book I created to get the film funded, which doubled as my director’s statement — tone, mythology, obsession, all laid bare
 
The film stars Stephen Moyer (yes, True Blood Stephen Moyer), and to this day it remains one of my favorite things I’ve ever made. Quiet. Mean. Atmospheric. A movie that lives in the trees and doesn’t let go.
 
This isn’t glossy studio memorabilia. This is the DNA of an indie horror film that had to earn its existence.
