P R I C I N G
As a fervent collector, I find myself constantly scouring the depths of eBay and Etsy, seeking out new treasures to add to my ever-growing collection. However, I have always been left with a sense of disappointment upon receiving my purchases. For me, the thrill of acquiring a new item is not just in the possession of it, but in the experience of unboxing it. That moment of tearing open the package and feeling the adrenaline surge as I lay eyes on my latest acquisition is truly unparalleled.
But it wasn't just about the rush of the unboxing - we wanted to create an atmosphere that was as enigmatic as it was alluring. A space where every item was presented with a sense of mystery and intrigue, as if it were a work of art rather than just another antique. From the carefully curated photos to the impeccably wrapped packaging, every aspect of our sales presentation is woven into the very fabric of our DNA. It is this attention to detail that sets us apart, making each and every purchase an... experience, that leaves our customers longing for more.
We may not consider ourselves experts in the realm of antiques and dealing, but we possess a keen sense for the enigmatic treasures that call out to us.
Our relentless pursuit of the unknown drives us to seize any opportunity to claim these elusive relics for our own. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer our customers the most exquisite deals, all of our prices are based on what we personally paid, and the work that went into curating each lot.
We approach each piece with great care and scrutiny, preparing it for its inevitable unveiling. Our methods may seem unconventional, like purchasing three versions of a vintage board game and Frankensteining the parts and pieces to offer a complete game. (but the end result is always worth the effort.)
At Attic Acquisitions, our goal is not just to sell antiques. We aim to curate an experience. You are investing not only in the item, but the entire presentation as it's delivered to you.
We strive to go above and beyond what is shown in the lot, so that our Collectors feel they are receiving exceptional value. Additionally, we often present the item in a vintage container, adding an extra layer of uniqueness to each purchase. It's worth noting that in some instances, the container itself can hold significant value, on par with or even exceeding that of the item it houses. All of these factors contribute to the pricing of our items.
