This set includes original production storyboards from the song “Mark It Up”, featuring Paris Hilton, Bill Moseley, and OhGr, pulled directly from the film’s development process. These boards map out the musical’s rhythm, blocking, and camera movement... and they also depict a deleted sequence that never made it into the final cut, including a moment featuring me as the wonderfully obnoxious director. This is process, not polish... the movie being figured out in computer ink and printer paper.
Included with the storyboards is an original sheet of GeneCo labels used in the “Mark It Up” sequence. These are the actual labels created for the scene, part of the tactile world-building that sold GeneCo as a functioning, soulless machine. Both items are authentic, production-era pieces, not replicas, and everything will come hand-signed by me. This is a rare window into a sequence as it was imagined, altered, and partially erased... exactly the kind of thing that never survives unless someone saves it.
