I'm gonna be REAL honest here... I have no clue where this came from, or what it is... My best guess is this came from the premiere of the film. I have never sceen this, and I only have ONE.

GeneCo “Genetic Opera” In-World Program Booklet - Early Roadshow / Premiere Era Artifact (circa 2006)

This is an in-world GeneCo booklet from Repo! The Genetic Opera—and I’ll be upfront: this is the first time I’ve ever seen one of these.

The piece reads like a program, a corporate brochure, and propaganda all at once. It features staged photography from within the GeneCo-controlled world, in-character interviews with figures from the story, and faux advertisements promoting GeneCo services—ocular replacement, genetic upgrades, and other “miracles” of the company’s carefully curated nightmare.

Based on its design, content, and tone, this booklet was most likely created in 2006, during the earliest phase of the film’s life—either for the initial roadshow screenings or possibly even the premiere itself. These were the days when the world of Repo! wasn’t just shown on screen—it was performed, handed out, and lived in.

There is no record of this booklet being mass-produced or commercially sold. It feels like something meant for a very specific moment: a leave-behind, a giveaway, or an immersive artifact designed to make audiences feel like they had stepped directly into GeneCo’s grasp.

That’s what makes this piece special.

It isn’t polished marketing.

It isn’t merch.

It’s world-building ephemera—the kind that usually disappears once the lights come up.
