RED WEDDING – Original Wedding Dress (Leah Pipes Test Shoot)

This is the actual wedding dress worn by Leah Pipes during the original Red Wedding concept shoot — the images that defined the film before cameras ever officially rolled.

Those early photographs weren’t simple wardrobe tests. They were the blueprint. The bride. The gas mask. The blood against white. The marriage of beauty and violence. That single visual became the spine of the sales deck, the one-sheet concepts, and the tonal identity of the project.

This dress is from that day.

Leah will not appear in the finished film due to her pregnancy, which makes this piece singular. There is no matching screen-used duplicate waiting in a warehouse. No continuity rack. This dress belongs to a version of Red Wedding that exists only in those first haunting images — the proof-of-concept that helped push the film forward.

We spent that day building something from nothing. And I genuinely don’t believe this movie would be moving forward without her stepping in and helping me create those initial visuals. Now the film is set up at Lionsgate, I’ll be directing in April, and new cast announcements are coming. But this dress? It has already done its job.

It won’t return to set.
