A one-of-a-kind practical prop originating from the 2002 stage production of Repo! The Genetic Opera at the John Wright Theatre—predating the feature film and representing one of the earliest physical artifacts from the world of Geneco.
The jar contains a preserved organ piece used in the live theatrical production, maintained for over two decades and kept in the director’s personal collection. Following the transition from stage to screen, an original GENECO barcode label from the film production was applied, transforming this into a rare hybrid artifact... spanning both the stage origins and the cinematic evolution of the property.
The result is a singular piece that embodies the full lifecycle of Repo!
From its experimental theatrical roots to its fully realized film universe.
Screen-used materials from Repo! are already scarce. Stage-used pieces from its earliest incarnation are even rarer. A crossover item like this—existing in both worlds—is virtually impossible to duplicate.
