* Personal note - I have only ever released two of these images on Attic when I first started... I will not be releasing this again. To me The Desperate is my origin story. And... extremely personal to me... I do not want this... thing to be over saturated and out there... as such, I understand the price is high... Posting this is more for people to look at... this is not for the casual buyer... Also, to note, since I have never released or shared the majority of these, SOME, not all will be copies.. unlike SAW and REPO I only have a singular copy of some ofthis stuff.
This is where it started.
A collection of early concept art and script pages from the transition of my original script The Desperate into what would eventually become Saw II.
Includes:
• Script pages featuring unused traps and alternate sequences
• Early death concept renderings that never made it to screen
• Original development material from the Desperate draft era
What makes this particularly interesting is seeing the ideas before they were refined into Saw—when things were rougher, meaner, and honestly a little more unhinged.
One example: in The Desperate, there’s a brutal sequence where a character falls down a staircase, cracks their head open, and is then finished off... strangled and suffocated with a plastic bag by the killer coming down after them. That exact moment didn’t survive into Saw II… but the DNA of it did. It eventually found its way into Saw III with Amanda and Adam in the bathroom.
This is that kind of material... the origin of ideas, before they became canon.
A rare look at the point where a completely different film was mutating into something else… and accidentally building a franchise in the process.
